A goat could help provide poor families with nourishing milk to drink and sell, earning them vital income for the future.
We’re working with our partners in the Borena community in south Ethiopia to help transform the lives of vulnerable women like Loko.
Loko makes her living by collecting and selling firewood. Her job requires her to walk eight hours to and from the forest several times a week and leaves her body in agony. But despite all this punishing hard work she barely makes enough to feed her family one meal a day.
Your gift will enable her to supplement the diet of her family with nourishing milk and sell the surplus milk at market, earning her vital income and the chance to save for the future.
