Fruit trees could provide families with more income.

Christian Aid partner SOPPEXCCA is a cooperative of small coffee farmers in one of the poorest areas of Nicaragua.

As well as helping the farmers get a fair price for their coffee, SOPPEXCCA supports them to grow other crops such as cocoa and fruit trees.

This means families are able to increase their income, lift themselves out of poverty and benefit their communities.
